This Tape & Reel (TR) package protects the magnetic switch from damage. A safety precaution is taken by putting the magnetic switches into TO-226-3, TO-92-3 (TO-226AA) packages. As a maximum current, magnetic switches can supply 2.7mA. Magnetic switches should be able to output 30mA at their maximum current.
