The PCA9538ABSHR/GT is a 8-pin CMOS device that provides 8 bits of general purpose parallel input and output (I/O) expansion for the two-line bidirectional bus (I2C). It is ideal for applications requiring I/O expansion, LED blink and dimming control, fan speed control, and various other applications. The PCA9538ABSHR/GT also provides hardware address pins that allow up to 4 devices to operate on the same bus.
